The new Urba and Urba One taximeters are the smallest in the TX80 range and the evolution of the classic Taxitronic brand format.

Despite their slim appearance, they boast unprecedent power and connectivity: They feature 5G industrial IoT connection, Bluetooth Low Energy and GPS geolocation. All this ensures their connection to apps and solutions necessary for the management of the taxi business.

In addition, Urba and Urba One allow, with no additional peripherals, the connection to our dispatching and fleet managment system Alfa 6. It is the ideal solution to start working and optimizing time.

Urba and Urba One are fully compatible with other Taxitronic equipment such as the TL70 roof sign and the IR80 printer. The complete Taxitronic ecosystem offers the best functionalities in the market to work in the most efficient way.

TX80 URBA, POWER AND CONNECTIVITY 5G IN SLIM FORMAT

The TX80 family grows with the addition of two new taximeters, the TX80 Urba and its essential version TX80 Urba One. The evolution of Taxitronic’s most emblematic format.

The TX80 Urba is a unique taximeter in the current market thanks to its standard equipment; Connectivity 5G industrial IoT, Bluetooth Low Energy and GPS. In addition, it has an integrated touch keyboard and adjustable double-hinged support.

Thanks to its GPS and Bluetooth connection, it is possible to link it to a smartphone and take advantage of the SmartTD application, developed by Taxitronic to offer its customers a useful tool. Among other functionalities, it allows you to record the most relevant data of the services performed, it offers the possibility to export them to Excel and visualize graphs elaborated from this information. Smart TD is a great help to efficiently manage and analyze the daily work of the taxi driver.

WHAT MEASURES HAS TAXITRONIC TAKEN TO FACE THE COVID-19 CRISIS?

Dear Customers,

Above all, the Taxitronic team hope you are doing well and we also want to encourage you to take extraordinary safety measurements to ensure that we all together quickly resolve the health, social and economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As you have probably read in the news, last Saturday 28 March, the Spanish Government announced that it would stop all non-essential economic and productive activities that cannot be carried out by telework. Our task is to cooperate in all efforts to stop the spreading of COVID-19.

In order to adapt to this new situation and to comply with the Government’s instructions, we at Taxitronic will take the following measures: Until April 9th, the date set by the Government for the lock-down of non-essential activities, our production which has been open until last friday will remain closed. However, we will continue to offer our support to our customers and suppliers: We will remain open with our repairment services and the shipment of materials at a reduced rate as long as we have stock available. We still offer maintenance services to taxis as needed and keep our workshop in Barcelona open.

We will furthermore continue all I+D developments, as well as sales, customer service, administration and marketing activities by teleworking, applying the security measures previously decided.We take this moment to say thank you very much for your support, your loyalty and for your understanding over the past few weeks.

As soon as the Government (and COVID-19) allow us, we will continue with our production and the shipment of goods. Please get in touch with us, in case you have any doubts or questions.

First Meeting of Taxitronic Operators

On May 16 and 17, the first Taxitronic Meeting of Operators took place at the Taxitronic offices, where several days and activities were held on the functionality and operation of the Alfa 6 system.

We want to highlight the success of the call, as well as the involvement and disposition of all the operators and Radiotaxis, being the global assessment by all, attendees and organizers, very positive.

Congratulations COTABO for your 50th anniversary!

Today COTABO celebrates his 50th anniversary, a reference cooperative in Italy, which has been a hallmark of the European taxi industry for all these years. And what better way to celebrate your anniversary than to inaugurate your new and fabulous headquarters.

Taxitronic, with Volunteer Taxi Drivers, at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital

On 28 March, volunteer Taxi drivers who collaborate with the hospital Sant Joan de Déu delivered to this center € 11.010, obtained through the collection of solidarity calendars. The 50% of the contribution goes to the rare diseases department “Rare Commons” and the other 50% to the rehabilitation department of neuropsychology.

The group of volunteer taxi drivers has thanked individuals, friends and companies who have participated in the campaign, including Taxitronic, for their help and collaboration.

From Taxitronic we underline the relevant disinterested work carried out by these taxi drivers on their free days, as well as the promotion of initiatives that financially contribute to the research relating children’s health.
