{"id":37955,"date":"2023-09-08T08:22:29","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T08:22:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taxitronic.com\/noticias\/feliz-dia-testers\/"},"modified":"2023-09-08T09:44:09","modified_gmt":"2023-09-08T09:44:09","slug":"feliz-dia-testers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.taxitronic.com\/en\/feliz-dia-testers\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Tester&#8217;s Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow, September 9th, is Tester&#8217;s Day, and we would like to congratulate all professionals involved in the world of Testing and Software Quality!<\/p>\n<p>Grace Murray Hopper is often mistakenly credited with recording the first computer error while working at Harvard University.\u00a0 Working with a Mark II on September 9, 1947, engineers found a moth hooked to one of the computer&#8217;s relays that prevented the computer from functioning. The moth went down in computer history, as Grace Murray Hopper left the following notation in the computer&#8217;s activity log book: &#8220;First actual case of bug being found&#8221;. It was there that the term bug appeared for the first time, along with the word &#8220;debugging&#8221; (which literally means to eliminate a bug), and which today is used to describe the process of identifying and eliminating bugs that cause errors in programming.<\/p>\n<p>That is why September 9 is known as Tester&#8217;s Day.
